2017-2018 Walk-Through Registration Information

MHHS LogoWe welcome you to Mountain House High School's online walk-through registration packet information.  Please read the instructions below carefully.  There are several links to information that students and parents must read, and forms that must be completed BEFORE arriving at the school for the physical walk-through registration on August 3rd and 4th.  


STEP #1-- Walk-Through Appointment

Times:  In order for us to avoid large crowds of people during walk-through registration you MUST sign up for a registration time through our online appointment system.  Please visit this link to sign up for your walk-through registration time:

There will be 30 minute appointment windows on the following dates and times:

Thursday, August 3rd between 1:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. 

Friday, August 4th between 9:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M.

Individuals who do not sign up for an appointment time will be allowed to complete registration on a stand-by basis. 

There will be a make-up Walk Through Registration on August 9th from 9am-12pm.  This will be first-come first served.  

Parents and Students who do not make it to this registration will not receive class schedules, or their Chromebooks until after they complete the process.  Continuing students who do not complete the process will be locked out of their Chromebooks on the first day of school


PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW TO COMPLETE YOUR WALK-THROUGH PACKET PRIOR TO ARRIVING AT WALK-THROUGH REGISTRATION.

STEP #2-- Complete Data Confirmation in Aeries Parent Portal

Login to the Aries Parent Portal to read and acknowledge yearly notices, health information, contact information, electronic acceptable use agreements and student handbook.  Be sure to complete all acknowledgements and save your confirmations.

Step #3-- Make your Purchases

Purchases at Walk-Through Registration are all OPTIONAL.  Purchasing items online will allow you to skip the payment line at Walk-Through Registration.
This is your opportunity to buy the following:

  • ASB activities card (gets students into all home sporting events for free, and discounts on dance tickets, yearbooks, and other school items)
  • Yearbook
  • Parking Permit (all students driving to campus must purchase and display a permit in their vehicle)
  • Class T-Shirts (Students wear their class t-shirts during homecoming, and throughout the year during spirit rallies)
  • P.E. Clothing (All students must either purchase PE clothing either through the school, or must purchase PE clothing that meets uniform requirements)
  • Family Athletic Passes (Gets up to 5 people into all home sporting events for the school year...great for families who have athletes)

Families paying through the online web-store must bring electronic or paper copy of the receipt to redeem your items.  

Step #4-- School Pictures

School pictures will be taken during Walk-Through registration.  These pictures will be used for student ID purposes, and will be the official yearbook photograph for the school year.  Students should come dressed appropriately, following the established dress code.  Students not in dress code will be provided a t-shirt to wear for the photograph.  Make-up pictures will also be available during the month of September.

If you choose to purchase pictures and you pay online, you must PRINT THE RECEIPT AND BRING IT WITH YOU TO REGISTRATION.  


#5-- Join PTSA (optional)

PTSA is the nation's largest child advocacy organization, and is MHHS's way for parents and students to get involved!  Each person in your family can become a PTSA member for only $10 each.  Click the link below for the PTSA application.

PTSA application must be PRINTED OUT AND BROUGHT WITH YOU to the walk-through registration along with cash, check or money order made out to MHHS PTSA.  


#6-- Join Athletic Booster Club (optional)

MHHS's Athletic Booster Club was established to support the athletic programs at MHHS.  If your student plays a sport, it is highly encouraged that you join this culb.  Click on the link below to access the Athletics Booster registration form:

Booster membership is voluntary however, it is essential to the operation of the athletics programs that all parents of student athletes join this club.  Visit the MHHS Athletic Boosters Club website for more information:  http://mhhsboosters.org/Home  
The Boosters application must be PRINTED OUT AND BROUGHT WITH YOU to the walk-through registration along with cash, check or money order made out to MHHS Athletic Boosters.  

#7-- Join VAPA Booster Club (optional)

MHHS's VAPA Booster Club was established to support the Arts Programs at MHHS.  If your student is in Band, Choir, Drama, Orchestra, or Colorguard you are highly encouraged to be a member of this club.   Click on the link below to access the VAPA Booster registration form:

Step #8-- Chromebook Insurance (optional)--To be purchased AFTER you check out your Chromebook.

All students at MHHS will be issued a Chromebook for use each day at school, and they will be taking it home at night.  Chromebooks will be checked out to students much like textbooks would be checked out at any school.  Students and their families will be responsible for this computing device, and will be responsible for loss, theft, or damage while it is checked out.  As a courtesy, our district offers low cost, comprehensive coverage for your Chromebook in case it is lost, stolen, or damaged.  Families are not required to purchase insurance for the Chromebook, however it is highly encouraged.  If you choose to purchase Chromebook insurance, please click below:


Walk-Through Registration Checklist

In order to assist in making walk-through registration successful, please review this checklist to ensure you have completed the process and have all of the appropriate documentation for your appointment.

  • Sign-up for a registration time through our online appointment system.
  • Complete the Data Confirmation in Aeries.
  • Make your desired purchases through the MHHS Square Store and bring a copy of the receipt (physical or electronic) and bring it with you to walk-through registration.  (OPTIONAL)
  • Purchase school pictures through Lifetouch and PRINT OUT THE RECEIPT and bring it with you to walk-through registration.  (OPTIONAL)
  • Join MHHS PTSA by PRINTING OUT THE MEMBERSHIP FORM and bringing cash, check, or money order made out to MHHS PTSA.  (OPTIONAL)
  • Join MHHS Athletics Boosters by PRINTING OUT THE MEMBERSHIP FORM bringing cash, chek or money order made out to MHHS Athletics Boosters.  (OPTIONAL)
  • Join MHHS VAPABoosters by PRINTING OUT THE MEMBERSHIP FORM bringing cash, chek or money order made out to MHHS VAPA Boosters, or by paying online HERE.  (OPTIONAL)
