Social Studies Department

Our diverse social studies curriculum extends beyond traditional history classes.  We offer a variety of social science and history classes ranging from the modern world history and contemporary global issues to the study of social science disciplines like psychology, sociology and economics. These courses help students understand and analyze the complexity of human issues and take an informed stance on them. Through our curriculum we provide students with opportunities to apply what they are learning in the classroom and to understand their own lives in a broader social context.
