World Languages Department

Mountain House High School offers students many opportunities to enjoy real-life learning in World language classes.  Mountain House High School offers Spanish and French at all levels, and starting with the 2020-2021 school year offers Mandarin Chinese level 1.  By 2024, we intend to be able to offer all levels of Mandarin Chinese.  World Language students are exposed to both the language and the culture of these world languages.  In addition to these courses, Mountain House High School accepts credit on our transcript through several outside language schools that teach Hindi, Tamil, and Telegu.
