PUBLICATIONS/YEARBOOK:  One year course; Prerequisite:  cumulative 3.0 GPA, or by teacher recommendation; Recommendations:  Keyboarding, familiarity with basic computer functions, and a desire to work hard and play hard; Open to grades 9-12.  Application and Interview process for acceptance. (Course may be repeated for credit)

Publications Yearbook produces the MHHS yearbook. This class is run like a small business and staff members must demonstrate a high level of responsibility, maturity, and organization.  Students will learn all facets of publishing, including reporting, writing, editing, photography, graphic design, layout, advertising, distribution, leadership skills, and the importance of teamwork. Fulfills the UC/CSU “g” requirement.
