School Site Council
MHHS School Site Council Purpose
Mountain House High School's School Site Council provides a leadership role in the school community regarding curriculum, school performance goals, and parent and student feedback and support. The school site council meets quarterly during the school year to discuss current issues and topics of interest and concern for the school, and provides an opportunity for students and parents to provide direct feedback to school administrators and to become more informed about the programs and services that are offered to students and the community. The School Site Council consists of parents, students, teachers, administrators, and classified staff members at the school. Examples of topics that are covered in School Site Council meetings include but are not limited to:
- School technology tool training for parents and students
- School discipline
- Dress codes
- School funding, including district and site-level budgets and spending priorities
- English Language Learner priorities, budgets, and achievement
- SUCCESS! period and interventions
- School calendars and bell schedules
- Grading policies
- School Accreditation
We encourage you to join our School Site Council meetings this school year. Meeting dates will be posted on the PUBLIC MHHS Calendar.
