ELD

ELD English Language Development (ELD) focuses on improving academic English skills. Students will focus on reading, writing, and vocabulary that are expected in high school courses. This course develops writing organization, revision, and editing. It also covers punctuation and grammar as it affects writing fluency and correct sentence structure. Additionally, the course stresses critical thinking and academic writing as well as presentation and verbal skills. The student has many opportunities to hone communication skills in various situations for many purposes.
