Math 1

MATH 1:  One year course; Prerequisite: Successful completion of Common Core 8th Grade Math or a Pre-Algebra equivalent.

The primary focus of the course will be on working with linear and exponential models and data, interpreting mathematical patterns, using descriptive statistics to describe data,  introducing geometric concepts, and exploring triangle congruence and quadrilateral properties. This course fulfills the UC/CSU “c” requirement. Meets NCAA requirements.
