Course Description
AP BIOLOGY: One year course; Open to Grades 11-12. Prerequisites: completion of biology and chemistry with a B or higher.
This is an introductory college-level course with an end of course exam managed by the AP College Board. Students cultivate their understanding of biology through inquiry-based investigations as they explore the following topics: evolution, cellular processes - energy and communication, genetics, information transfer, ecology and interactions.
