PHOTOGRAPHY 1:  One year course; Open to grades 9-12

This course will begin with an introduction to the basic fundamentals of digital photography.  Students will learn camera mechanics and handling, correct exposure, editing, printing, and composition.  Students will be required to analyze and write descriptive responses to all work produced in the class. The class will emphasize hands-on projects but will include tests and quizzes as well as other written work.  The course will also explore the history of photography and career opportunities. Fulfills UC/CSU “f “ requirement.
