Course Description
PHOTOGRAPHY 2: One year course; Prerequisite: Photography 1. Open to grades 10, 11, 12.
This course is designed for the student interested in furthering his/her photographic vision. It requires independent outside work and classroom lab time. A greater emphasis will be placed on developing computer skills necessary for image manipulation. Areas of study will will include composite photography, still life arrangements, and selective focus, extended time exposures, self-portraits, artificial light and multiple exposures. Self-evaluations including analysis and descriptive reporting will be required. A career search and the exploration of the historical significance of photography will be part of the curriculum. Fulfills UC/CSU “f “ requirement.
