Mountain House proudly announces the addition of music teacher Greina “Goody” Choi as the new Choir and Orchestra teacher at Mountain House High School, and in the Lammersville Unified School District. Mrs. Choi is an experienced string teacher who has taught both in public schools and in private lessons for many years, and she is ready to start teaching the students at MHHS and in the Lammersville Unified School District. With the addition of Mrs. Choi, MHHS is proud to be able to offer a new elective course for students who have zero to beginning levels of experience playing the string orchestra instruments of Violin, Viola, Cello, and String Bass. This class is an opportunity for students who have always wanted to play one of these instruments, but have not had the opportunity to do so. Learning to play these instruments and taking Orchestra classes can be a great addition to a student’s high school resume as they prepare to apply for college. In addition, students who may have taken strings in the past, and have forgotten those skills are welcome to sign up.
