Tesla is looking to partner with local educators to expand the opportunities for graduates who are interested in accelerating their education through an internship with TESLA after graduation. The Manufacturing Development Program (MDP) is a fully paid internship that teaches the basic knowledge and skills of engineering in manufacturing.
Through the MDP, applicants will be registered for a 10-week Certificate of Achievement at Ohlone College, completing credits in electronics, robotics, programming, mechanical systems, and technical drawings. The cost of the course is covered. After successful completion of the program, applicants will have the opportunity to transition into a full-time Production Associate roll in the Tesla Fremont Factory, working with the same equipment and systems they learned about in the classroom and understanding the manufacturing process.
