We’re excited to share that Assemblymember Rhodesia Ransom’s Young Legislators Program is now accepting applications, and the deadline has been extended to December 15, 2025.
This free, six-month leadership program is designed for high school Juniors and Seniors in Stockton, Tracy, Mountain House, or French Camp, that are interested in government, service, and community leadership. Participants will:
· Engage with local and state government leaders
· Learn how legislation is developed
· Volunteer in their communities
· Build leadership, public speaking, and teamwork skills
· Participate in a capstone trip to Sacramento
Sessions are held one Saturday each month, offering hands-on learning and real-world experience.
We encourage you to share this opportunity with your students who show strong leadership potential or a passion for civic engagement.
We welcome letters of recommendation for nominees. If any students experience a delay in obtaining a letter of recommendation, please have them notify me by email.
