The results are in, and the spirit of discovery is thriving at Mountain House High School!

We are incredibly proud to announce that our students didn’t just participate in the recent County STEAM Fair—they set a new standard for excellence across the board. In a stunning display of versatility and academic rigor, our Mustangs brought home honors in Mathematics & Computation, Engineering, Science, and the Arts.

Our successes reflect the depth of talent here at MHHS:

Investigative Science 
-  Pranay Rishi Nalem won FIRST PLACE for his work on Quantum-Inspired Reservoir Computing Using Simulated Spintronic Networks.

- Aman Nalem won SECOND PLACE for his work on AI - Integrated Multi-scale Modeling of Baroreceptor Restoration.

Investigative Math & Computer Science
- Hanish Acharla won FIRST PLACE for his research project 'A Deep Learning Ensemble for Retinopathy of Prematurity Classification in Neonatal Fundus'

- Alok Hiriyur won SECOND PLACE for development of his personal finance app CogniCents: Harnessing Behavioral Psychology to Escape the Debt Trap

Investigative Engineering

- Syeda Zainab Fatima won FIRST PLACE for or work on ICAM: A Novel Non-Invasive Portable Device Leveraging PPG and Respiratory EMG Signatures for Resource-Efficient Detection of Ictal Central Apnea in Non-Convulsive Seizure Monitoring

- A group of three students; Haramrit Bal, Pradhyun Akkala, and Abishek Renjith won SECOND PLACE for their project DynaMag: Dynamic Electromagnetic Control and AI-Assisted Targeting of Drug-Mimicking Particles Under Physiological Flow.

Showcase
- Jasleen Bihal won THIRD PLACE for her creative Mixed-Media Art project entitled 'Who am AI'.

This strong showing at the podium is a rare feat and speaks volumes about our students' ability to translate complex theories into award-winning realities. Whether it was through rigorous data analysis or creative technical craftsmanship, these students represented the very best of our community’s commitment to lifelong learning.
