MHHS: Essay & Video Contest on Fentanyl Awareness

.Hello Mustangs,

We are excited to share an opportunity for our students to use their voice in a powerful and meaningful way. Mountain House students are invited to participate in the “One Pill Can Kill” Essay & Video/Media Contest, focused on raising awareness about the dangers of fentanyl.

Students may choose one of the following submission options:

Essay (1 page): Write a heartfelt letter to a friend, classmate, or loved one answering the prompt:

“If I could stop you before you take that pill…”

Share why their life matters and how one decision can change everything.

Video/Media (30–60 seconds): Create a short, impactful video delivering a message about the risks of fentanyl and the importance of making safe choices.

Prizes:

1st Place: $500 Visa Gift Card

2nd Place: Gift Card Award

Students are encouraged to be real, honest, and powerful. Your voice could truly make a difference and help save lives.

Deadline: Wednesday, April 22
