Join the a nationwide tradition, the Congressional Art Competition since 1982, this bipartisan competition has showcased high school talent in the U.S. Capitol. Winners are recognized locally and at an annual ceremony in Washington, D.C.

Prizes & Recognition:
- 1st Place: Artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year.
- 2nd Place: Displayed in Rep. Harder’s D.C. Office.
- 3rd Place: Displayed in the Stockton District Office.
Submission Guidelines
- Artwork Criteria: Must be two-dimensional, original in concept, and follow U.S. copyright laws. If selected, the creator must frame the piece.
- Max Size: 26" x 26" x 4"
- Max Weight: 15 lbs
- Accepted Mediums: Paint/Draw: Oil, acrylic, watercolor, pencil, ink, pastels, or charcoal.
- Mixed & Digital: Collages, computer-generated art, and photography.
- Prints: Lithographs, silkscreen, and block prints.
Important Note
All work must be in its original medium (no scans). Since winning pieces are displayed for a full year, please only submit artwork you do not need back immediately.
Deadline: April 20th, 2026, by 5:00 p.m. Drop-off: District Office, 1776 W. March Ln., Suite 360, Stockton, CA.
