Day 1 Dominance: All four Mustang qualifiers—freshmen Atesh Mopur, Anish Pattanaik, Nishant Rao, and sophomore Sri Sai Charan "Cherry" Kotaprolu—shined on Day 1. The highlight was Nishant Rao’s thrilling tactical upset over the #4 seed from Merced to send all four Mustangs to the semifinals.

Singles Battles: On Day 2, Nishant Rao and #2 seed Atesh Mopur fought hard in the semifinals against elite competition, with Mopur barely missing the finals after a grueling, three-set heartbreaker against Rodriguez High.

Historic Doubles Championship: After rallying back from a set down in the semifinals, the #1 seeded duo of Cherry Kotaprolu and Anish Pattanaik dominated the finals against Placer High (6-1, 6-2) to capture the first individual sectional doubles title in MHHS history!
