English Department

 

Learning how to read, write, and speak effectively is a crucial key to success.  During four years of English classes at MHHS, students read extensively, exploring a wide variety of authors, eras, and genres.  They are also taught to express their thoughts clearly and articulately through creative writing projects, essays, and long-form critical research papers. Mountain House High School Students graduate from our English department with the skills necessary to excel in college, careers, and beyond.
