Global Studies

GLOBAL STUDIES:  One semester course; Open to grade 9.  (paired with Health)

Students will examine unresolved problems of the Modern World, i.e. Threats to Global Security, Protecting Human Rights, Environmental Issues, and Globalization. Emphasis is placed on researching and actively deliberating on policies to resolve issues through role plays and simulations. Geography is an integral part of each unit. Meets NCAA requirements.
