MHHS Senior Yearbook Headshot Deadline

Clothing for the yearbook headshot:
This year we are returning back to the traditional head and shoulder pose with tuxedo or drape on a blue portrait background as shown above. This will ensure uniform head size and background consistency. Gentlemen: please wear a white dress shirt. We will provide a tuxedo jacket and bow tie for your use during the headshot part of your session. Tuxedo jackets size between 35 and 50 are available. Ladies: please wear a spaghetti strapless or strapped tank top to have a quick change. We will provide black velvet drape for your use during the headshot part of your session.
Experience SessionThis is the highest level of photographic service that you can experience with us. Some seniors will want this to design their own senior experience and go out to locations not normally done in the other sessions. We'll do both in-studio and outdoor locations and on separate days including weekends, if needed, to go out to distant locations (i.e. Ocean beach, SF city, Theme park, Japanese Garden, West 12 Ranch, etc). A pre-consultation will be held virtually or in-person to design your experience. An optional hair and/or makeup service is available for an extra fee. Family or friends can be included with a senior's session to be done at an outdoor on-location.
Showcase SessionShowcase session is an extended session for those who want to show the seniors personality and accomplishment in portraits by bringing extra curricular activities. Some examples are of students photographed in their sports uniform, band outfits, musical instruments, PLTW, HOSA, with family members, or friends. (*Photograph with family, or friends will be done on-location only) An optional hair and/or makeup service is available for an extra fee. Sessions are normally done on weekdays, in-studio and/or nearby outdoor locations within Mountain House.
Cap & Gown Session
A Cap & Gown session also includes the Senior Yearbook Headshot session. You'll be photographed in graduation Cap & Gown outfit in-studio using our senior props as well as the traditional tuxedo or black velvet drape that we'll provide during the session. You may bring an extra prop of your choice to use as a prop (i.e. musical instrument, sports gear, etc.). Sessions are done on weekdays in our studio only.
Senior Yearbook Headshot Session
The Senior Headshot Session will include a variety of headshots with 2 different outfits (Formal attire, and Cap & Gown) on 3 different backgrounds (Traditional portrait background, High key background, and Low key background). We will provide formal attire (tuxedo or black velvet drape) for yearbook headshots. Sessions are done on weekdays in our studio only.

Policy Change for the Senior Yearbook Headshot Only SessionYour yearbook headshot is free of charge. However, due to limited resources this year we changed policy for the studio yearbook headshot only session. This year you will be required to deposit a $25 holding fee when you request a studio yearbook headshot only session. Once the time slot becomes available you will be scheduled for your yearbook headshot taken at the studio by us. A $25 deposit will be credited back to you after you have completed your appointment on your scheduled time. This is to utilize time slots and to prevent "NO SHOW". In the past, staggered appointments for the yearbook headshot only sessions became blocking the time to be used for other sessions. And parents or students made appointments and did not cancel or reschedule in a timely manner according to our policy and did not show up on their appointment time. This caused the valuable time slots to be taken up which could have been assigned to other seniors, as well as our resources. We would like to use our time and resources to serve our seniors. This is the reason why we changed policy and the way to schedule a studio yearbook headshot only session.
