DECA is a non-profit, student-led organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high school and beyond. At MHHS, we are hosting our first, annual Mini Competition on Saturday, October 29th. This competition serves as a preliminary round to determine how many of the existing 250 members will advance to the regional competition in January. Students will attend an opening ceremony at 8 AM and participate in a series of testing and presentations from 9 AM to 1 PM, followed by a closing ceremony and award session.
Any teachers, alumni, parents, or community members interested in volunteering to judge at this event are requested to fill out this form. The DECA officers will get in touch shortly regarding judge training early next week. *Volunteers who are not cleared by the district will be required to show proof of a negative TB test prior to the event.
Family, friends, and members of the community are encouraged to visit campus from 1 PM onwards as the Confetea food truck and Peacock Indian Cuisine of Dublin will be selling great food in the quad! Proceeds from this lunch fundraiser will benefit MHHS DECA. Bring your family and friends. Wwe hope to see you there!
