Biomedical Night of Excellence
On February 3, 2023 the amazing MHHS catering class provided an array of delicious treats to celebrate excellence in our student population.
The ceremony began as twenty-six Biomedical Science juniors and seniors were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society along with twenty-six students from the pathways of computer science, engineering, and business.
This was followed by the Biomedical White Coat Ceremony which recognized the Medical Interventions students. (White Coat ceremonies are a rite of passage for medical students). This year the event was sponsored by Trosien Orthodontics ($1400), West Valley Disposal and Recycling Service ($500), Rainbow Electronics and Fasteners ($500), N&T Insurance Solutions ($400). We thank them for their generosity which made the purchase of these coats possible.
Students entered the stage, introduced themselves and identified the career that they hoped to pursue. The students then pledged a modified Hippocratic Oath in which they promised to uphold ethical standards.
The evening concluded with the viewing of scientific posters created by students from the Biomedical Innovation class. Scientific posters are used to present research in academic and conference settings
