LUSD First Responder Drill

.First Responder Drill @MHHS 3/27/24

Good afternoon, Mountain House Mustangs and Families,

This is just a reminder about our upcoming First Responder Drill that will take place at the high school during Spring Break. As student and staff safety remain a top priority for us at MHHS, the Lammersville Unified School District Safety Committee, San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department, Mountain House Fire, and American Medical Response have partnered to plan a multi-agency first responder drill at Mountain House High School next week.  The goal is for each agency to practice their safety protocols in partnership with one another (*students will not participate in the drill).

The drill will take place on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Mountain House High School.  Although the entire campus will be closed to all activities, the east side of campus will be the most heavily impacted.  The Cordes Elementary School parking lot and multi-purpose room will be used as an additional staging area for first responders.

Intersections that will be impacted:
  • Parco Ave. and Cosenza St.
  • Parco Ave. and S. Modena St.
  • Parco Ave. and S. Tradition St.
Throughout the day, the community may experience the following:
  • Sirens
  • Emergency vehicles entering and exiting MHHS and Cordes repeatedly via Parco Avenue
  • Loud noises

Thank you in advance for your support and understanding. Have a restful break; we will see you in April!

Sincerely,
Adam Auerbach
Mountain House High School Principal
