Auditions for MHHS' Spring Musical Les Miserables are coming in JANUARY

 

All audition information is on our website under the tab "SPRING MUSICAL" 

 

We are specifically looking for talented singers for a cast of around 40-50. Roles for ensemble include 4-6 part harmony, and principle roles with solo singing. Huge plus if you can portray emotion through song (especially principle roles). We encourage students of all levels to audition! No prior experience needed.

Important Dates (Required attendance in order to participate)

Tech Week: After school 4-6:30pm March 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, April 5 (Saturday - please communicate before auditioning if you cannot be there on 4/5), April 7, 8, 9, 10 (4-7:30pm)

Performances (7pm): April 11, 12, 13 (2pm), 17, 18, 19

Audition Schedule: 

Day 1 - January 13th, Monday: Individual Singing Workshop SIGN UP HERE https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0F4CA5AF29AAF8C25-53388447-spring 

(Sign up for a time slot - checking vocal range and ability to match pitch) - ALL AUDITIONERS. You will be given your choral vocal part for Tuesday's Harmony Test & a list of suggested principle roles based on your vocal range. All students are eligible for all roles regardless of age, grade, or gender.

Day 2 - January 14th, Tuesday: Harmony Tests (Day 2) - ALL AUDITIONERS

Day 3 - January 15th , Wednesday: Principle Character Auditions - only if you are interested in playing a role with solo singing parts (SEE MHHS DRAMA WEBSITE FOR SONG SELECTIONS BY CHARACTER)

Day  4 - January 16th, Thursday: Callbacks by email invitation only (If you do not get a callback, you are not being considered for a principle role, but may still be cast in the ensemble/chorus)
