On behalf of the Mountain House DECA Chapter, we are excited announce the amazing results that our
chapter achieved at the Northern California DECA Conference held January 17-19 in San Ramon. In the
big picture, out of the 45 events, our DECA students placed in the top 10 in 33 of the events. We
doubled our overall winners and top 10 placements from all previous years. This is a major milestone
for our chapter. In addition, we had more “glass” winners that ever before. Below are the names of our

Almost one-quarter of the students we took to the conference were awarded “glass” trophies. In
addition, this was the largest ever NorCal conference with added high schools and more students
competing. Our students faced more competition than ever before. The massive accomplishment was
only possible thanks to the support of 8 dedicated officers and the chapter advisors. What the students
accomplished this weekend is unprecedented for our chapter, and Mrs. Caldwell and I could not be
prouder of our DECA students.
