Athletic Clearance Information

 

Mountain House High School uses Home Campus as its secure platform for athletic registration. All required documents must be uploaded directly to the website — no physical copies need to be submitted to the Athletics Office.

 

Steps to the clearance process:
  1. Visit homecampus.com

  2. Click “For Students & Parents”

  3. Select California

  4. Register for an account (if you don’t have one). This account will stay with you throughout your MHHS career.

  5. Choose your sport(s) and select the correct school year.

  6. Complete all required information

    • Both student and parent/guardian must fill out sections and electronically sign.

  7. Upload your physical

    • Scan both pages (if applicable)

    • Ensure the doctor’s signature and date are clearly visible

  8. Upload proof of insurance

    • A photo of the front of your insurance card or any document showing active coverage

  9. Note: Physicals are valid for one calendar year and must cover the entire season of participation.

  10. A new clearance application is required every school year.

Common Clearance Errors to Avoid

To ensure you're fully cleared for athletic participation, please double-check the following items — these are the most frequent issues that delay eligibility:

  • Missing Physical Exam – Be sure your (Athletic Physical Form) is completed and submitted, all pages.

  • No Proof of Insurance – A copy of your current health insurance card is required to ensure coverage in the event emergency medical care is needed during athletic participation.

 

Athletic Clearance Timeline & Processing

Clearances are processed during the following windows:

  • May 27 – June 8

  • Two weeks prior to the start of each sports season

Once your submission is received, please allow 24–48 hours for processing. If you have not received confirmation of clearance after 48 hours, please contact the Athletics Office for follow-up or email Mrs. Nunn ([email protected]).
