Career Technical Education (CTE)
Launch your future with hands-on learning that connects classrooms to careers. Our CTE programs build the academic foundation, technical skills, and real-world experience students need to thrive in college and the workplace. Through engaging, project-based learning, students explore their interests, develop leadership and problem-solving abilities, and gain valuable exposure to industry expectations. Whether students are preparing for immediate employment, advanced training, or higher education, CTE pathways provide the tools and confidence to turn their passions into purposeful, successful futures.
Why CTE at Mountain House High School?
- Learn by doing. Labs, projects, and skill-based training make academics practical and engaging.
- Connect with industry. Career exploration, site visits, guest speakers, mentorship, and work-based learning bring the workplace to you.
- Earn recognized credentials. Many pathways offer industry certifications and college credit (articulation) upon pathway completion.
- Build career-ready skills. Communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and professionalism are embedded throughout.
Pathways & Progression
Our programs are organized into 3–4 year pathways so students gain depth over time:
Introductory → Concentrator → Capstone (Pathway Completer)
Students follow the sequence to develop advanced, job-ready skills in their chosen field.
