Career Technical Education/Professional Pathways Home

In addition, CTE courses are designed into 3 and 4-year pathway options where students begin at the introductory level and move through sequentially designed courses so that completion of a pathway means students have relevant and high-level knowledge and skills in the content area. Students must follow the CTE course sequence in order to fully benefit from the courses and to be considered a pathway completer, which also brings its own distinction and recognition at the graduation ceremony. Students apply for professional pathway recognition during their senior year. See our Professional Pathways Guide for more information.
