Non-Articulated Courses
MHHS student can take ANY course they want outside of MHHS!
Students may want to take courses for a variety of reasons outside of MHHS. Common reasons for taking Non-MHHS Courses:
1. To explore an educational opportunity that is not offered at MHHS.
2. To deepen their knowledge in any area of study that is not offered at MHHS.
3. To try college level courses.
4. To earn college credit to get ahead.
Keep in mind:
If a student takes a course outside of MHHS, and it is NOT articulated (added) to the High School transcript - they will still report the course on UC and CSU college applications and it will be considered in the review for admission (will be considered in the UC/CSU GPA). However, for Private & Out-of-State colleges - they will ONLY accept courses that have been articulated onto the high school transcript, so if you take a non-articulated course - it will not be considered in the application review for Private/Out-of-State colleges.
