Mountain House High School's Hackathon team participates in several hackathon events each school year. A hackathon is an event in which computer programmers and others involved in software development, including graphic designers, interface designers, project managers, domain experts, and others collaborate intensively on software projects. The goal of the hackathon is to create functioning software or hardware by the end of the event.
Our Hackathon team has won several awards, and actively recruits new members each year. MHHS Hackathon is both a team and a club on our campus. Students who are interested in the club are typically also involved in our Computer Science Pathway, but are not required to take Computer Science courses.
The Coach for the Hackathon Team is Tracey Lewis: email@example.com
