Adam Auerbach, Principal

Dr. Auerbach is an experienced high school principal and teacher who has served students for the past two decades in Lodi and Los Angeles.

Adam received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from California State University, Northridge, and a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership from Stanislaus State. In 2024, he earned his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Stanislaus State.

Adam began his career in education to help others realize their potential and support their various passions. He is passionate about community-building and growing connections among students and staff. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in secondary education, having played a vital role in the construction of a new campus in his previous position. His vision for Mountain House is to build upon the strengths of staff, students, and community members, expanding opportunities in both academics and career advancement. Brian Schum, Associate Principal of Curriculum and Instruction
Brian Schum - YouTubeBrian oversees all efforts of curriculum and instruction at Mountain House High School, and assists in the overall administration of the high school.  Brian facilitates our department chairs in leadership council, and communicates with students and families about registration, course enrollment, grading policy and procedure, and student academic programs.  Brian is also responsible for facilitating our school site council meetings. Aparna Grace, Vice Principal
Aparna 2023Aparna has been teaching for twelve years in both elementary and secondary and she is excited to support the Mountain House community as Vice Principal at Mountain House High School. Aparna earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from the University of Illinois. She completed a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership and Administrative Credential through the Teachers College of San Joaquin. Aparna became a teacher because she loves to learn and wants to share that with others.  Her aim is to serve students, staff, and families so that we can continue the excellent work of supporting our students in reaching their own goals. Cassandra Skelton, Vice Principal
CassyCassandra has dedicated over 12 years to the field of education, serving in various roles, including classroom aide, special education teacher, general education teacher, middle school teacher, and district coordinator. She has been a proud member of the original MHHS staff since its founding in 2014. Cassandra earned her Bachelor of Science in Multiple Subject and Special Education from Grand Canyon University and a Master of Arts degree in Special Education from the same institution. Additionally, she holds an Educational Specialist degree in K-12 Leadership. With extensive knowledge and experience in special education, Cassandra is deeply passionate about fostering student well-being and building meaningful connections among students and staff. Justin Nunn, Vice Principal
J NunnJustin Nunn brings 18 years of dedication and experience to the education field, having served communities across Tracy, Modesto, and now Mountain House. Justin earned his Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from California State University, Stanislaus, and his Master’s in Educational Administration from Concordia University Irvine. Throughout his career, Justin has been driven by the belief that every student deserves access to high-quality education in a supportive and inclusive environment. Justin remains dedicated to empowering educators, inspiring students, and fostering a culture of excellence within the school community.
